(More customer reviews)We had two problems with traditional dishwasher soap. First, all of our aluminum utensils came out pitted and covered with a black powdery finish that got on everything. Second, the dishwasher detergent would frequently cake up in the dispenser so that dishes would have to be re-washed. This product solved both problems, plus it's easier to put in that either powdered or liquid detergent. Not only is it convenient, but our dishes come out cleaner than ever. The fact that it's good for the environment is icing on the cake.
