(More customer reviews)We recently remodeled our kitchen and changed the 30-year-old dishwasher. In the process, we also changed to Finish Electrasol 3-in-1 dishwashing tablets, mainly because our local warehouse club offered a special introductory two-dollar-off coupon. Our first load of dirty dishes came out stunningly well. We were greatly impressed! Was it the new dishwasher (IKEA by the Whirlpool Corporation) or the new detergent that made the difference? Well, it was probably both, but the Finish Electrasol Tabs worked so well we've been using them ever since.

When it comes to cleaning the dishes, we try to practice a certain amount of common sense. Plates, dinnerware, cooking utensils and other things are lightly scraped and cleaned off after use and not allowed to dry hard. After all, the dishwasher/detergent is just a handy appliance and not a miracle worker. As such, we've been able to get gleaming loads of clean dishes and almost never have to place anything back for a second try. Glasses come out bright and spotless and we live in a hard-water area. We take no special care. We do not use a pre-wash or a rinse. Only one tablet is put in the little door per load. Usually, the washer is set for the normal wash cycle. This is a first-rate product. We are so satisfied with it that we have no need to look elsewhere.

Let me add that we buy this product at a warehouse store where it is sold in an 85-tablet container. I believe this to be the exact same product as is listed here in a 20-tablet package.
