(More customer reviews)So we were a very loyal Cascade family until we started using tabs/capsules/gel packs as the Cascade ones just performed poorly every-time. We ended up throwing them away when we tried Electrasol's normal tabs a few times. That was three dishwashers ago (don't worry we moved and than upgraded our new house's unit!) and we have been loyal to Electrasol ever since. We have tried other brands that were on sale or free with purchase but nothing has delivered performance that we wanted so we have stayed with the gold standard. While I currently don't follow Consumer Reports, they were what got me started with Electrasol tabs to begin with.

Why did we use the tabs instead of gel packs? The gel packs were neat feeling (hey I am being honest!) and meant you didn't need to open a bag and walk across the room to throw it away but they never had the cleaning power of tabs. The other down side to the powerful tabs was with my new born son and 2 dogs, I was concerned that the chemicals (dust and small chunks of cleaner) were getting on the counter and floor when I opened the tab's bags.

Enter these Electrasol Capsules--nothing to unwrap or put into your environment but they deliver the same cleaning power as the tabs PLUS they result in crystal clear glasses. Now I am sure you think I am kidding here, but I switched from the tabs to these and the first run I noticed a difference so I grabbed a glass I ran with the new capsules and one from the cabinet from the day before that had been cleaned with a tab and asked my wife which looked better. She picked the capsule one instantly, as did my son. They even feel cleaner. So here is my challenge to you, try these against your current dishwasher soap for a run or two and see if you can see what I am talking about.

Who knew something so normal could be worthy of a review, but after having purchased tons of options, these are now purchased in bulk. No wrapper, no spill, no "dust" and super cleaning power in a little box that disappears. It is like magic!
