PACKAGING:
The bottle is easy to hold and squeeze.The top is a little difficult to pull open with wet hands, but very few dish soap tops aren't.The bottle itself looks nice on your counter, and the round shape minimizes the space it takes up.However, if you have a narrow sinkwell area, it may not fit as well as an oval-shaped "standard" dish soap bottle.I do think a more grippy design would be useful, but it wouldn't be as pretty.It's a trade-off I'm willing to make.

SCENT:
The scent is what makes this awesome.It smells sweet and fresh without being cloying.It's not immediately associated with dish soap (yet), so your guests won't guess that you just did a washing session when they walk in.I found it relaxing and pleasant, to the point that I kind of WANTED to do dishes just to smell it!

EFFECTIVENESS:
I tried this on scrambled egg remains, and it did better than either of my previous brands.I also tried it on days-old hot cocoa mugs and a cake dish.It took very little soap to cut the grease and release the particles.I've used several brands of natural/organic dish soaps, and they often just do not do the job.This one does.

ABRASIVENESS:
This leaves my hands feeling soft.I never use dish gloves, but my other soaps often leave me a little chapped or irritated.I don't recommend using it as hand soap, but I bet you could...it leaves your hands that soft!

(More customer reviews)I do not understand why someone whould give this product a 5 star rating without actually using it. You must have a lot of time on your hand. I purchased Color It from Amazon's vendor for $19 including shipping. I had a discoloring in my Nissan's seat fabric. I used it on the fabric to find out that it is not even close to what they show on the carton. The matching the color may be possible, however the gloss is not even close. The new color is very shiny and stick out like a sore thumb. This may work for vinly - but not for fabrics. Also, the carton says you can go on the company website to see a live video, and there is no video. The website looks like it was made in the early 90s.

One squirt from either Dawn or Palmolive will wash an entire sinkful of dishes; one pump of Ajax washes one plate (liquid is runny). However, the bleach alternative will keep your sponges from smelling moldy; the antibacterial agents in others will not. I'm going back to Palmolive with bleach alternative - it has a pleasant smell, lasts a long time, and keeps my sponges odor free.
